      Why? Its a good thing that you can alternate pick, and very useful too. The difference is that its easier to play a certain amount of notes in succession but downstroke picking while playing ain’t a bad thing either.

      im sick of people saying this is easy. even experienced shredders have trouble playing a good blues because feel comes way before technique. it may be technically easy, but it’s not just about playing notes. its about feeling the notes.
