    Posted by admin on December 9th, 2009 and filed under guitar lessons software | 3 Comments »

    My friend told me about a software called "Easy guitar Deluxe". I was looking for something similar to it but i cant find anything. I just dont want to take lessons. Can someone suggest something?

    thanks,
    brandon =D

    There are guitar books that teach simple chords and have you try them out on easy songs like row row row your boat or three blind mice.

    The good thing about the books is that
    They are cheep,
    they really help,
    and they ALWAYS come with a CD to play along to.

    If you want to see someone playing it on a DVD, then go to your local guitar center-

    and they will recommend some good guitar books like they did for me! =D

      To learn anything will take lessons. There are plenty of free ones online that you can take advantage of. Here is a link to lesson one for beginners on About.com

      Hope this helps :O)

      If you ask a guitar/music shop, they do have books available. I don’t know a lot about it. I took a college class last year that had required me to learn a little about the guitar, and it seems you need to know the chords. There are charts out there for that. However, I would at least take 1 or two lessons. You will learn from a person who knows what they are doing about tuning and such. They also know some techniques etc. Do you know how to read music? If you don’t, it will be difficult to go very far without lessons. I know how to read music, but wanted to learn to play the piano…much more difficult than the guitar. My point is that I knew how to read music, I knew where the notes were on the keyboard, but there was a lot of technique that couldn’t be taught from a book or computer software that could only be taught by a live person. The more you want to do with it, the more you will want to take some sort of lessons.
