I don’t have enough money for private lessons and i have tried using a computer software to help me but none of that helps. What should I do?

I taught myself too.
Practice makes perfect.
First you need to learn the names of each string, and get familiar with simple tabs.

Some easy songs:
Marilyn Manson version of -Sweet Dreams
Anthrax- Madhouse
The Cranberries- Zombie
Deep Purple- Smoke in the water

I learned by playing those songs, try to learn a different song every single day, easy-hard- then you’ll be a pro.

   You have three choices,

   You can either download those guitar learning videos from those PPP softwares likes Ares, Limewire etc. If you wish to download any of those, just type the latter in google or yahoo search engine.

   Secondly, you can register with websites like:
   http://www.learnguitar.net
   Online Guitar Lessons

   Trust me, they’re good.

   Or the last choice, is you learn from a guitar teacher in person.. I would recommend you the this option. You learn on playing faster nd is more efficent.
