I am a musician (guitar player) who both gigs in a working band and gives guitar lessons several days a week in a music store. I wish to expand my teaching "business" by offering one on one lessons to anyone in the world theoretically via webcam. I have a MacBook pro with a built in webcam which makes things pretty simple, but assuming most of my students will not have newer Macs, what type of software/hardware will I/they need to execute a real time online lesson where we can both see and hear each other. Thanks.
We currently don’t have a software app like this in our range at NCH Software but I have put your question to our developers (since a number of them a guitar players/musicians themselves). Since it could be used in a broader scope it may be something of interest to them (schools, businesses).
We have an app like this but it’s only for Audio called Language Coach, so we could possibly build on that as a base and incorporate video.
