      Robert, you’re great but I wanted to pass along a warning to Apple users to NOT buy and Line 6 products as they do not support their customers using Snow Leopard.

      phrasing is much more important imo!

      Hmm, by practicing a lot. I spent time playing slowly to a drum machine, in order to develop some kind of accuracy. Then you work up the speed, slowly. Over time, you’ll be able to play faster.

      But please, don’t think that playing fast is “better” in any way. It can sound cool at times, but it’s really not that important. Playing good lines and ideas, whether slower or fast, is what you should focus on.

      Yes, I am pulling off on the G string, and playing notes on the A string from the A Mixolydian mode. Alternating back and forth, while I’m “traveling” up the neck. I don’t play the open A string by itself. Hope that helps. Lesson some time later perhaps!

      @clewi1091
      umm if it helps he’s going up the neck and pulling off to the open g string after every one or 2 notes. After he pulls off to the open G string, he hits a note on the D string above. Then he ends it with a fast-ish pentatonic lick in g minor. But that’s just what I picked up from looking at it. So it probably didn’t help much sorry, I’m nowhere near as good as he is.

      Very nice demo, Robert. The Verb stuff alone is worth the price of the whole M9.

      Add an expression pedal (think dive bombs, pitch glide, wah, and volume swells), and you can rule the world!
