Your version works …
Your version works but I don’t hear a hammer on or slide in the original version.
I hear a pick raking these notes EEBDGG before the run down from the F #.
The B is the only fretted note, the E D and G notes are played on open strings IMHO.
Thanks for the posts they make us all better guitar players.

This is the real way to play it. I actually learned this riff by accident while trying to play a completely different song. lol. All the other douche bags that post their version of this opening riff is wrong. Five Stars dude!!!
