I second the opinion to get a teacher in your area. They will help you learn much faster than online lessons will. But if you’re looking for some basics to get you started, check out:

I used it a couple of times but then I started getting lessons from a teacher. I would eventually recommend doing that because while you could learn using websites, you can’t get feedback from a computer to tell if you are doing the right thing.

When you are a little more confident in your skills and you understand how to read tabs, you could try this site: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/

You can search songs from your favourite singers or bands.
